Uses: It is used in the petroleum, chemistry, metallurgy, machine, medici-nemaking,automobile industries for distillating, absorbing, evaporating and filtrating processes, so as to eliminate the entrainment and foam mixed in the gas and liquid.

Thanks to advances in welding technology, many of the filters and strainers that were historically made from Monel are now constructed with cost effective, long lasting stainless steel.
