Introduction:
Jaw Crushers are widely used throughout the world by the aggregate, mining and recycle industries. Their large rectangular feed opening size enable them to receive a larger feeding size than most other types of crushers. Solid construction, simplicity of design and the ability to crush most types of materials, including hard abrasive stone like balsalt, granite and cobble, make them ideally suited for use as the primary crusher within a crushing circuit.
The crusher is extruded by fixing the angle formed between the jaw plate and the movable jaw plate. The movable jaw is connected to an eccentric shaft so that it is in reciprocating motion. The rock enters the crushing chamber from the top and passes through the chamber. As the depth increases, it becomes narrower and narrower until it is sandwiched between the two jaw plates, where it is crushed until it breaks.
